Is this the new Malaysia we wished for?

ARE WE BETTER OFF NOW, MALAYSIANS?

1. We rejoiced, jumped for joy and congratulated each other the night Barisan Nasional stumbled for the first time in the 14th General Elections.

2. To some of us, we had waited a very long time for something like this to happen and never had we imagined that it was going to come true.

3. The fall of Barisan Nasional was mistakenly compared  to the night when the Berlin Wall came crashing to the ground.

4. 'Politics in Malaysia would never be the same again', so we claimed.

5. In actual fact, politics had always been on the wrong footing in Malaysia, right from the very first day we were exposed to the meanings of 'politics'. Politics in this country will always remain the same. There is no difference between UMNO, DAP, MIC, PAS, MCA, PPBM or even PKR. Every single party had always been racist in nature and struggle.

6. Over the years UMNO had always been at the wrong end of the public resentment.

7. Being the government, UMNO had to face the barrage from every corner of the political fence.  As for the DAP, they needed the chinese support. DAP started to indoctrinate the Chinese that UMNO was a racist Malay party (but aren't DAP racist as well?).  DAP saw that it was the easiest route to topple the BN government and in doing so, created the hatred between these two races.

9. The main reason to the Malay Tsunami that saw the fall of the ruling party in the last general elections was not because the Malays were against UMNO due to the party's mismanagement and bad leadership. The truth is the majority of Malays thought UMNO had failed them. Malays always thought that UMNO were giving too much to the Chinese. In reality UMNO had so many people to please. In the end they became a victim trying to please the Chinese but forgot that the ones who voted for them were the Malays. Had UMNO not try to look good to everybody and focused on the Malays, they might have survived the onslaught.

10. In came PH with all kinds of promises. 'A new Malaysia' they claimed. But soon, we realised that they are no better than the previous government.  Mahathir had the cheek to even say that his government will not be fulfilling the 100 days' promises which were stated in the PH manifesto as it  was not the bible to be adhered to.

11. But that's Mahathir. We all adore him. He can lie all the time and we don't mind a tiny bit.

12. The economy is going down and investors are shying away. While Malaysians are feeling the heat, Mahathir and his band of happy go lucky incapable ministers are having a field day blaming the previous government for their failure to deliver.

13. Mahathir made a big blunder by playing the blame game on China to topple Najib, forgetting that this economic powerhouse is no pushover. In the end Mahathir was the one who got bullied and other countries now don't want anything to do with Malaysia as long as Mahathir is in power. Even Japan has been very cold towards the old man.

14.Corruption is sipping in very fast. If it took 61 years for corruption to get into the way to topple BN, it took PH leaders just a few weeks to be caught with corruption. A Malaccan exco, Mat Sabu's aide and Lim Guan Eng's corruption case, to name a few.

15. The danger that lurks is far greater of what can be seen on the surface. By trying to destroy UMNO completely is actually asking for trouble. To many UMNO members, Mahathir is a DAP puppet. Many have begun questioning the role of the DAP in the actions taken against UMNO and its leaders.

16. As UMNO represents the bulk of Malay support, the 'bullets' directed at UMNO is seen as the attempt to 'massacre' the Malays. "We never did this to DAP when  we were in power but why are they trying to kill our party?", they have started to question.

17. And that is not all. For the first time in history, Malaysia is at risk of facing a split. Sabah and Sarawak are not happy with the government's empty promises. The rift is getting bigger and if not handled accordingly will see the demise of the Malaysian Federation.

Is this the New Malaysia we've struggled for?

A tribute to Uncle Jam

Just heard from a colleague in the office, the Uncle Jam, who owned the only known to us jamming studio in Kuala Pilah...

Without him, I don't think I will be the so called musician cabuk I am now.

Without him, I don't think my brother will ever learn to play drum. He didn't teach but being able to play at his Jamming studio let us explore the possibilities.

Without him, I don't think we will ever have a band now.

During the national election of 2005, he asked me to join him in his shop to watch the result. He belanja me all sort of food and drinks.I can't forget that.

He used to opened up his Jamming studio, because we called him at 1 AM in the morning to jam. He says, 'You wall punya pasal saya ada bukak. Kalau lain worang, saya tara bukak!'

As we moved out of Kuala Pilah in 2000, we no longer played there for quite sometimes until the wedding of my sister of which the hotel they used to transit before the wedding place was just in front of his studio. We visited, he offered us to play as nobody was around, and when I was about to pay, he said, 'No needlah we all old old friends, like this lah'

That was my last encounter with him, till last night, a colleague informed me of his demise.

I was just planning to give him a visit this Raya. Regret that I should have visited him whenever I drive to Kuala Pilah.

May god bless him. He was a good friend despite so many people disliked him for being so 'garang', but he'll be nice to those nice to him.

An Epic Balik Kampung Story - Ever

This year, it is the turn to 'berhari-raya' di Tanjung Pinang. Luckily, i said LUCKILY, because you will know later, that I've sent my wife, daughter and son and the maid a week earlier so that my wife can help with the earlier preparation for the hari raya. Not much I guess but at least she's there because I'm so going to work till the last day of the week before the hari raya.

Thursday and Friday I've gotta be working on noon shift. Ironically my train ticket is at 11:50PM from Seremban. It mush have been much earlier from KL so I'm a lot lucky to be able to depart from Seremban. Thankfully the boss was so kind to let me work from home on Friday so I don't have to rush back or leave early to drive down to Seremban.

So my journey actually started on Friday morning. After the weekly review with the Americas over the conference call on that late Thursday night, I drove home, intending to be able to drive down to Seremban the same night but what happened was, I was busy tidying up the house, keeping things at their places while finishing up my Hackintosh build. It was never completed as I'm stuck at my most successful Maverick install but it keeps hanging at any time the OS is running, of which I found out it was due to Graphics card but never mind.

So, the drive down on Friday was breezing smooth. No traffic. I drive like crazy trying to get rid of my gas so that I can finish off my last ever gas allocation with Petron for August, and forever, as the company switched to Petronas instead. What happened was, I managed to get to Senawang in 28 minutes from home but the gas level didn't move a milimeter even!

Anyway, driving around in Senawang helped. Drove around to find things, envelope for duit raya and also in the quest to finish off another RM150 value of voucher for Bantuan Buku 1 Malaysia. Mother was also asked some favors of which finally I managed to make way for the balance of RM80 of gas for my car.

Managed to get the report done before time but after berbuka, I was having good time finishing off with daily routine of updating the files and so on. Managed to get things done at 10pm and left home at around 10.30pm worrying that the traffic is going to be bad in Seremban.

The fact is, the traffic was easy. We reached early and waited for long, but good thing was I was able to run around to buy some food for myself in the train, in case there's none on the train. The train departed ontime at 11:48. Izzat and Pye sent me off to the train station. A little bit of grief, for leaving all the loved people behind but I just can't wait to see both my children.

I think I did a mistake for saying hello to the passenger sitting next to me, as I was unable to secure myself a bed for the train ride. There he goes talking and talking and talking up to 3.30 am until I really have to excuse myself for not being able to hold myself from sleeping. He was a nice Chinese guy travelling with all his family members, going down to Singapore for holidays. Should be one of the longest night. Haha.

It was 7 HOURS on the train.

The train managed to reached JB at around 6 something that I spent a few minutes for morning prayers before getting a cab to Stulang Laut. I was blessed with a nice taxi driver, who charged me accordingly to the meter. Then I walked slowly to the ticketing counter, took the lift up and walla!

It was like almost 60-70 meters from the counter back to the entrance and the double line queue had already reached the entrance steps. I rushed to the toilet before able to get back to the line to queue.

6.45 - joined the fun
7.15 - made friend with one older lady from Pahang and another indonesian lady married to a singaporean but staying in Johor. It's good that I finally able to talk with people.
7.45 - moved to almost half
8.45 - not moving at all. I and the older lady and the indonesian lady decided to stay together and whoever first reached the counter shall be purchasing the ticket for others too.

It was actually people beginning to cut the queues. We were fortunate there was one security officer who was kind enough to chase these people away. Quite funny that these people attempted to cut queues from left, right and even from between the lines.

9.00 - People shouting announcing that the seat for the ferry going to Tanjung Pinang at 9.30 had been sold off. We've been thinking to get the ferry to Batam first and only going to Tanjung Pinang as the next ferry will be at 1.30 pm.

As these people were chased away, then we're able to move and finally at around 9.45, we reached the counter and finally decided to get the earliest ferry to Batam which is at 10.30. We checked in and cleared the immigration once tickets purchased.

That was 3 HOURS of standing in the queue!

Exactly 10.25, the ferry departed and reached Batam at around 11.45 and to our surprise, there's another wave of people queuing up from the counter straight to the ferry dock!

And they segregated Indonesians with the foreigners. Of which, foreigners who needs to obtain Visa On Arrival gets the privilege to go straight to the front as they're paying. In USD!

It was actually speechless. I was cursing all the way. The authority seems to be unable to manage the peopel properly. They were very offensive and irritating. It was hot and salty, as we're queuing at the connecting bridge from the ferry docking to the immigration plaza. The same issue, people cut the queue in the middle, and pity some people who were wrongly queued at the Indonesian line chased away to be in the foreigner line. Anyhow, I and the older lady and the Indonesian lady promised to wait for each other once we've cleared the immigration.

That was another 3 HOURS of standing in the queue!

I finally cleared with the customs at around 2.45, being the last of the 3 people and to my surprise they're still waiting for me. We took a cab to Punggur and finally managed to get the 3.30pm ferry to Tanjung Pinang. Anyway, we're the last 3 to be on board that they put us in the captain cabin. It was again hot and there was one crazy lady smoking in that cabin. I managed to sleep and woke up just nice before the ferry approaching the Tanjung Pinang's port.

At exactly 430pm, I reached Tanjung Pinang but all my frazzles were all worth it when my daughter greeted me by saying,

'Afya rindu abah!!'

7 hours on train, 2.5 hours on the ferry, 6 hours of queuing and an hour on the cabs, all paid in cash!

Regrets

Today while I was at a fuel station trying to fill up my petrol, as the card was failing, there comes a guy handing me something by asking me,

"Can you help me fill up my motorbike petrol for 2 or 3 ringgit? I'm heading to hospital Kajang to visit ....."

I refused at first and he turned his back to me but I managed to call him back and handed him two piece of RM1 notes and he left thankfully to the counter and paid.

I drove off. They returned an error on my cards.
.
.
.
.
Later on I felt like crying... He must have been in his worst situation. Maybe he was even unable to buy food for himself. Maybe he wants to buy something for the one he's visiting.

I should have given him more... -sigh-

Call it a quit!

I've been tobaccoless for 40 days now. It's not easy but not hard though. I'm just happy and eager to see how clean my lungs would be now.

Today I'm just happy to see my pot plants to grow well. Alhamdulillah, as for the past 2 years i was here, my plants were struggling well to survive.

Just like me, I'm struggling for the sake of the best of my life; that's my family. I've been honoured with a cute playful daughter who stole our sleeps at nights but keeps us cherished with her cheeky smiles.

All the best, and welcome 2012.

Retired Folks

I live in a community whereby the housing area is mostly populated by Forest Department retirees. I'm sort of knew these people, even some of them I knew them when I was younger, due to the fact that those retirees are mostly my father's colleague during his service with the government.

The close relationship is prolonged through the settlement that we have currently. We had our own surau, even though small but nice enough to accommodate the prayer purpose, and it also serve as the place to gather the people from the whole settlement area.

These people had been serving the people through their service in the government. What touches me is the fact that these people, even though retired, they are still willing to serve people, this time around for nothing to gain.

I just received a note that I found in my letterbox inviting me to a meeting to form something like the committee of the kampung (JKKKK) in this place and also maybe to provide some security service by executing a patrolling service through out the nights.

See, even they have retired, the servicing urge is just so in the blood. They are willing to do so, for nothing, after servicing the people 25-30 years. Exhauted but never tired!

Sadly, before all these were happening, even during our first Raya gathering that was held last Sunday, people started to babble on the effort; by saying the patrolling service won't be as long. Even more sad, that particular guy are not part of the Forestry retirees community, who actually bought the house from one of them.

I would, in my honest opinion to actually praise the effort, no matter how it's going to be. To have such 'worm' to disqualify people is disgusting. As a community, we should step in and voice our support, as this is not for anyone else but us.

You know what? I just felt like to  burn someone's house down!

Happy Birthday Farah!

Hello.

I cannot imagine having another newborn sibling when I was 21 even though I was always having to tell my mom that I wanted another sister. I still remember I had my worst accident when I was 20, when all my good buddies gathered at the end of my hospital bed and cried. Imagine how terrible I was at that time.

That was like, 13 years ago? Then when I was at home resting from my semester, once in a while my mom came and visit me at home and one day I popped this shout!

"Woi! Mak aku pregnant woi!"

On the 4th July, she was born; me and all my friend visited my mom in the hospital, everyone was amusingly excited and surprised that I have a little sister with a 21 years gap.

Time goes by. Being a bully and being bullied at home is just her. When Farah was smaller, she would hang with nobody except my mom. Even until now, my Father wouldn't be able to hug her, just because of an unknown reason.

I don't remember much about her when she was in the primary school but I knew she was obviously having a deep caring thoughts about me. I don't remember showing a lot of affections towards her as the nature of me being a bully doesn't allow me to do so; and do you think she would ever care, if I do?

At that time, I still remember how I pity her for not having a doll to play with and she was playing with a 1.5 liter mineral water bottle, carrying it around and talking to it like a baby. And she would always talk by herself; either talking to herself or making a phone call to anyone she would miss. As I was among the people who was always being around her compared to all the other siblings except for Izzat, she would always like making an imaginary phone calls to her sisters (Adik and Ina remember this, Farah always miss both of you when she was small). She would just make that imaginary phone call to anyone that she misses

I was having the worst time of my life about 9 years back. I've lost my gf (of which I am so thankful that I did) and I was having my downtime for almost 3 months after. I lost weight, I don't do this, I don't do that. I didn't bully Farah as how I would do normally. All I do was grieving and looking back at the past.

Farah, as how she would normally do, she would never come to me to say anything or do anything. I didn't even knew that she would even knew or understand what was going on until one day, when my mom was busy at the garden while she was playing at the garden and talking to herself as usual. My mom broke into tears when she heard Farah was making her imaginary phone calls to my ex gf asking her to come and play with her and come visit Along (that's me) because Along is always sad. Hahaha!

Having her around sometimes making me look like a father figure. When I was in JB, I was the one who is always sending her to and picking her up from school. Everyone was asking if Farah is my daughter.

When I was having a new gf, she would threat to tell the current gf that she knew. Haha! I don't remember when did I introduce her to my wife but she was happy to know that I finally chosen the right one!

She was doing very well in her Standard 6 exams that now she's accepted into some religious boarding school. Being the most pampered (and still) child in the family, she was having her hard time at school. When she threatened to pull herself out of school, I insisted her to inform me of anyone who is giving her the hard time and I'll slap them in their face; even the teachers!

That was history and I think she survived for almost 6 months now. The last thing I heard from my my father is that she's now in the top 10 list of all her batch.

As a brother, even though sometimes I hate you for being lazy, I'm totally proud of you.

Really proud of you!

Today that it is your birthday, I would want to give you my warmest hugs and tell you that we all do love and care about you. I do love you. What ever it is, you're still my sister and I'm all you've got if you're in trouble sista!

Take care! I'm proud of you!

April 1, 2010

1st April 2010

It's been a year in DHL APIS.

It has been great working in here even though I've not into working anymore but the job provides me adequate enough to carry on.

While in DHL APIS also, I was recruited into their very own band, ' The Undecided' and so far we've been having Gigs in several places including Singapore and Phuket, as the bassist, though. :P

It's been a year++ of my marriage as well. I'm pretty lousy at it but both of us are working our best on it. I'm still the same hot blooded person as usual but my patience (and passionful) wife is at best being the understanding and supporting woman for me.

I've just got a new car for my family to be. My Civic is just being unreliable and inconsistent lately. I was supposed to be driving my Civic to work tonight but warming it for at least 5 minutes didn't give me any sign that it's gonna work well for me tonight.

My mom has been not very well due to slip discs problem and my father keeps on seeking for every solution possible to help my mom to relief the pain.

My sister, Fadhlina is now in UK doing her phd. My other sister, Faizah, to my surprise had won the Malaysian Bronze Medal for her Master thesis, which for me is a superb accomplishment ever! I managed to congratulates her as I got home from Seremban prior to this moment but as usual, and I hope she knew how proud I am being her brother.

And she's getting married on the 1st May as well.

Expect me to be more active for the next few months. I have been limited to Internet XS for the past 2 years and my new house will only be equipped with PSTN line in the next few months, 2 or 3. That's what SKMM told me in their email.

I'm now starting to feel lucky again.

DO you feel lucky punk?

Photography

It seems like everyone is into photography right now. I have a nephew from far cousin who has just started working, who also just bought a Sony DSLR (which was not so wise decision though).

He also has a younger brother, who had just finished schooling with quite a knowledge of photography. As yesterday I was attending a relative's wedding in Kota Tinggi Johor, I met with these people and amazed with their interest.

It seems like DSLR is no longer being alienated like last time. Gadget people look at it as a necessity. With the latest development of which the Camera manufacturers started to release cheap cameras, everyone may now claim themselves a photography photographers.

And these people started to sell their services cheaply.

And for some people, who will just say yes for as long as they can have a set of pictures for their wedding, they will sign up the cheap photography package with these people.

Even though these people have less or very minimal knowledge on the wedding photography, given Adobe photoshop and all those tools, they're now a wedding photographer already.

Photographers like me will lose so many jobs, but it's okay. I'm fine with that but price would not lie to you. You'll be getting what you're paying.

And I've heard some elder photographers was complaining about other Top photographers who were charging so much but their picture is not that favourable to him.

Photography likings is very personal. As for myself, I'd prefer pictures with the elements that strengthen the image. There are so many, but as long s the picture is fine, nice to the eyes and very the soothing, it's acceptable and as long as the Art value is there, it's still a nice image.

People always asked me about editing. I always tell them, editing is not necessary if you've already a very good job with your camera. Sharpening is not needed as blur will also gives you some sense of art if it was done tactically.

First things first, if you really into photography, the easiest way to learn is to look in the forums. Or buy books.

But camera techniques, is something you have to learn in person. You can either go to Nikonian Academy or any personal photographers for it; given if you're lucky enough.

Good, nice & friendly forum would be photomalaysia.com but less good pictures there. Shutterasia would be flooded with a lot of nice and pro-looking images but beware of the people; they're not so friendly especially the moderators!

Well, photography is still, very abstract! It lies in the eye of the beholder.

Terima Kasih

I'd like to thank all my friends who manage to attend my wedding which was held last saturday 4th April 2009.

I really appreciate it. Serious.

It's really great to see all the great faces at my wedding.

Cheers!

Who would be your adored character?

During my recent visit to Jakarta, I bought myself DVD of Desperate Housewives up to season 5 episode 10. Currently I'm downloading Episode 11-15 from the Internet. Just to catch up with everything.

I've been watching Desperate Housewives, not continuously, from season one to the latest, on either 8TV, Starworld or SBC5. I don't remember when exactly I watch it for the first time but being someone who is not being able to stay put at one place for even a week, plus, I have this problem to watch my favourite Astro channel when my mom is around, trying to be a regular of a TV program kinda gives me a lot of hard time.

No wonder it has won a lot of awards as every single episode will actually lead your interest on what's going to be next. The life was just around the daily life of those of wysteria lane.

Before i started to watch Desperate House, in the beginning, I was imagining myself to be adoring Susan Mayer, played by Teri Hatcher. Last time, I was so in love with her during her play in the Superman series, plus, maybe I was a lil bit influenced by her topless images that was around, way back in 1990s.

I didn't know the rest. At all.

After sometimes, I realize that Susan Mayer is supposed to be adored but at the same time she created a lot of other problems. She would never be able to keep her mouth shut of anything goes.

Everyone else is the same. No one would ever be able to be 100% honest.

As a humen being, security is very important, thus these people were being dishonest as a way to protect themselves or someone they cared and loved so much but, they would do anything to revenge.

One thing I adored about all these people. They have been protective among themselves. This was proven in the episode where all Lynette, Bree, Susan and Gabrielle ensure they provided the same story to the police so that Katherine Mayfair is not charged of murdering Wayne Davis, in season 4.

I was never touched by anything and anyone except for this one person. I would never believe it myself if I say, the most touching moments in Desperate Housewives were when everytime Gabrielle admitted her faults, when she cries and when she expresses her love to Carlos.

Despite of her cheating Carlos at the early seasons of Desperate Housewives, she made it through the hardships during the 5 years after Carlos was unable to feed her just like he did when he was a bigtime earner. She became the mother of 2 ugly girls (yeah I must say they're ugly), but she became lovelier day by day.

Not like Susan Mayer, when she admit that Mike was the love of her life but just because Mike seems not to be fully responsible on the accident that was not fully his fault, (Yeah, Mike was driving on the main road and hit Lila Dash and her child who were just driving out of the junction without looking).

You know what? I hate Susan Mayer! Really. Because she reminds me of a lot of women/girls out there. I don't understand why she can never make up her mind. And having sex to Karl while knowing Edie was in a relationship with Karl, but it was wrong when she's currently with Jackson, she's disapproving Katherine to be with Mike. What the hell is wrong with her?

And she gave a hell lot of trouble to Orson for not being able to keep her mouth shut and told Bree that Orson ran over Mike to cover up Orson's mother homicide.

And for burning down Edie's house while thinking that Mike was having sex with Edie, that was a hell of a bullshit man...

I hate Susan!

Bree was a dream housewives for being a great cook and manage to be formal most of the time. Edie was a bitch but Lynette is lovely except when she can't stop herself from throwing out what she had in mind.

You know what, I love Katherine Mayfair also especially when she had already became Bree's partner in their business and while she's now with Mike, she's so sparkling. I have no idea how patience her was with Mike and Susan's son.

I was just trying myself with the quiz of which housewives are you, I end up with being Lynette. Hahaha..

Anyway,I think Gabrielle is lovely. With all the hardship that she had gone through, I would vote for Gabrielle the be my most adored character in this movie.

A vote for Gabrielle!

January 23, 2009

No kidding, I'm 32 today...

Seriously, I was still thinking that I'm 25 and able to do a lot of things that a 25-year-old-male can do.

The real fact is, I can't.

When I was 25, I'd be able to play futsal without injuries. Nowadays, I'll injure either my ankle or feet or my toes every 2-3 games.

When I was 25, I was just 68kg. I used to be 83kg last few months but thank god I'm working to get reach at least the 70kg floor weight. I'm now 74kg. Thanx to B-FIT product, I lose 8 kgs in 3 weeks, healthily. NO medication just pooping like every 2 hours and cause your anus burnt.

Any one? Hehehe.. Tell you it works!

When I was 25, I would be able to drive 'macam setan' around KL, driving bumper to bumper, cilok here and there, and I can even outrun a police patrol on a motorbike on a busy Federeal Highways but nowadays, I was a few times get shocked of sudden braking even though the front car was still 100 feet away, as my age goes up, my guts goes down the drain.

When I was 25, i had a very hard headed mind and tough like a stone heart. Nowadays, I would simply cry just by the scene on TV, but you know what, even though I pity Palestine people, instead it causes me to become angrier as the surrounding Islamix country was not doing anything about it except for Iran.

Worse, I caught a fever two days back. My tonsil swollen and my whole body acheing. My back is terribly aching. I was suspecting myself to catch the fever in Jakarta, but that was almost a week plus ago.

I had a visit to the clinic just below my house yesterday and after swallowing some pills, I'm start to sweating. And I've got to take it every 8 hours to maintain this sweating state. Or else, I'll be getting my fever again.

A friend asked me to rest. I can't aford to rest. Time is driving me crazy. I'm left far behind everything.

Need to ketchup. Eh.. Catch up...

Anyway, I'd just like to thank everyone who wishes me by SMS, by phone call, by facebook (yeah most wishes were from facebook).

Thanks to this fever as it allows me to update this lonely blog again.

:*

Happy New Year..!

I've gotta tell you that, exactly after a month since my last entry, I've had been figuring out of a lot of things to be jot down here but i've always have to make way for other things to be in place in order to let things run smoothly.

December has been quite an eventful month for me. A few weddings that has to be taken cared, with custom album as the final product, has almost tore me apart.

Earlier in December, a recruitment agency had called me up to push my resume to DHL of which I had just attended the interview yesterday and, as i thought so, surely I'm gonna meet Farok over there but he has gotta run by afternoon that he's not feeling well.

Just so fortunate, I went to the interview together with my super-junior of MMU, of which I do know him at all.

We went to the Friday Prayer together.

The shockest thing after all, was the demise of my granma last week, just before my trip to Jakarta. She had been sick since Januray the 3rd, for almost a week, and when I was about to leave to Johor on the 5th, I feel so unwell that I dun feel like leaving her alone in the hospital.

And I went back up to Seremban on the next Thursday, on the 8th January, arrived so late in the middle of the night that we decided not to drop by as it has been really late, and most importantly, my bro from Penang, is also around so I just can't wait to see him.

The next, I was awaken by my brother's voice, saying that my Granma has gone...

I was okay till the last moment, after she had been bathed and dressed up for burial, when everyone take a look at her for the last time, I was suddenly haunted by memories of myself talking to her whenever she feel like talking.

Alhamdulillah, she passed away on Friday, and safely buried next to my grandfather's.

The next day, I've gotta leave for Jakarta. And today I'm back to kampung for the kenduri of her 7th days of demise.

Al Fatihah..

Why do i blog less nowadays.

FYI, my last 10 entries was from July to current, of which last time, there would bemore than 10 entries in a fortnight.

And my English is worsening, due to I'm no longer be able to speak English to anyone, as I do much of the talking to my laptops, cameras and cars and not forgetting all my musical instruments.

Back in the year of 2006, most of my time was spent on reading other people's blog. I read Zetty's blog almost everyday, and at that time also, I forced Taiko to also start his own blog. He did it, and he did it very well.

Back in 2008, errr.. currently, I spend most of my time facebooking until today, when I realised that I've been wasting most of my time there. But I closed most of my photography deals from facebook. Thanx to facebook but Battle of The Band, Mob Wars and Real Time Racing has definitely made me out of focus.

And plus, I'm spending most of my brain idling time to think about photography. I even dreamt of photographying my 2 nephews while they're playing on my tummy. (How's that uh? Heheh)

Pardon for all those 'just created' vocabs as you know I always did.

All my Canon and Nikon gears are scattered all over the house. Not to mention all the other accessories and lightings. Gosh! My 3 rooms apartment that seems too big for me to live alone last time is sooner becoming a small hut for me and all my things.

I have yet bought a set of Drums as I wish but I do think that I need a bigger house to put all my things together. Thanx to Omen who sold my first Strat Fender, to Amat who are so happy to own and sold the guitar I won during the Maxis U2 song singing competition, to Ikhwan who broke my RM300 Samick Acoustic guitar and to my cousin for keeping my RM80 Kapok guitar.

Other wise, those guitars would be such a burden in addition to my Les Paul, another Fender Strat, a Samick Electric Acoustic, an Ibanez bass and my first ever Yamaha Classical Guitar. Not to mention the Marshall amp, Roland amp, Laney amp, Ibanez amp and that cheap Woodtree amp that I'm still keeping.

I have this problem on focusing on what I want to do.

Seriously I'm gonna start with one thing. I think I spent too much time on Facebook last time. It's time to quit playing all those stupid (but addictive) games.

I wanna read blogs again. Today I did visited a few blogs and I realized that I miss reading nice and funny blogs. Again, I read Taiko's, Zetty's and just found The Blog of Anak Mat Nor of which I think is very sincere and colourful.

The key of being a good readable blog is again being sincere of what you write.

Let's get sincere again....

Today I realize that...

Last time when I searched for 'Izham' on the net, the results were pretty few pages.

Today, all of a sudden I found out that there are so many people named Izham. And the drama producers were also using Izham as the name of one of the character in that drama.

Izham is always being portrayed as someone gentleman enough, nice and an absolutely an ideal boyfriend.

Of which I think is not. Most Izhams are bad and irritating (that includes me).

When I was still schooling, I managed to find only one Izham, that was when I was in standard 2. His name is Mohd Noor Izham.

Now, Izham is almost everywhere.

And today, I've got a joke sms telling that Anwar Ibrahim has swore upon the picture of DYMM Yang Di Pertuan Agong in Segambut to become the Prime Minister. Yeah. He was supposed to be the PM by 16 Sept, but what has gone wrong eh?

In the Tyra Bank show today, a mom loses her baby for being addicted to drugs and alcohol.

And it's pretty sad to see the policemen patrolling around like nobody business nowadays.

That means what?

It's either the crime rate is getting higher... or?

The economy is so bad that the policemen has to go out more often so that they can pow more and more people as people nowadays are unable to pay them as much as they used to be paying before.

But I'm quite happy with the movement of the global oil pricing. We should by now lessen our dependencies on the petroleum based products.

Even though, (yeah even though) prices of the other products has never gone down even though the oil price has gone down, and the local currency has gone better towards the USD.

And I realize one thing that, by days, I would prefer to stay at home more than before. I spent almost RM20 per day compared to those who went out.

I've gotta be a cheapskate too. My civic rather needs more money than anything that I own right now. Hehehe.

Not to mention amateurs who managed to embarassed themselves whenever they were flashing their high beams when they are about to reach my car.

So long dudes... ciao..

Ramadhan

  1. Gua ada sepupu yang bernama Ramadhan. Dia dinamakan Ramadhan bukan sebab dia dilahirkan di bulan Ramadhan atau dia tak kerja lain selain berpuasa. Dia dinamakan Ramadhan sebab dia ada abang nama Syawal, Rejab & sebagainya..

  2. Masa kekecik dulu gua teringin nak makan kuih tepung pelita untuk berbuka puasa. Gua mintak la duit lebih kat mak gua. Masa tu gua tak tau apa namanya kuih tu tapi gua bilang sama mak gua, kuih tu sedap giler. (Cemana gua tau sedap? Ha kan dah kantoi! hahahaha, kawan gua cakap... Burrrpp opss). Esoknya gua ke sekolah berbekalkan duit yang agak lebih. Pastu masa rehat gua kena denda pulak sebab gua tertumbuk muka kawan gua sebab dia minum air depan gua. Pastu rehat keluar lewat. Gua pegi cari kuih tu dah habis. Sebagai gantinya gua beli la PISANG GORENG.

Mak gua marah giler kat gua. Dia kata setakat pisang goreng baik takyah beriya mintak duit. Gua macam kecik hati. Gua telan goreng pisang tu semua sorang2. Geram gua...

  3. Gua suka banget kalau mak gua bikin sirap sirap selasih. Gua dulu suka ngada2 nak suruh bapak gua pujuk gua kalau gua tak tahan puasa. Last2 dia malas nak pujuk dia sua je air sirap selasih kat mulut gua. Hehehe.. Tersipu2 gua masa tu. Langsung gua dah tak ngada2 lagi dah lepas tu.

  4. Bulan Ramadhan selalunya orang ambil peluang untuk jadi kurus. Jadi kurus ni maksudnya mengurangkan berat badan, bukan menukar nama jadi Encik Kurus. Tapi ada jugak orang yang kurus, lagi nak kurus, contohnya gua. Hahaha. Adakah gua kurus? Tapi seriousla, skrg gua rasa macam gua nak cari awek kurus pulak. Senang nak masuk dalam poket.

  5. Dulu masa zaman sekolah, budak2 yang tak puasa kena public caning. Bukannya diorang malu pun, tapi siap buat muka bangga lagi.

Banyak pahala awek tu. Hehehe. Gua? Manjang je xde duit.

  7. Masa zaman lepas SPM, gua kerja cuci kereta di bulan puasa lagi. Yang gua tak tahan sekali kalau kena cuci motor polis trafik. Dahla susah. Pastu polis tu tak puasa, minum dan isap rokok depan gua.
