Photography

It seems like everyone is into photography right now. I have a nephew from far cousin who has just started working, who also just bought a Sony DSLR (which was not so wise decision though).

He also has a younger brother, who had just finished schooling with quite a knowledge of photography. As yesterday I was attending a relative's wedding in Kota Tinggi Johor, I met with these people and amazed with their interest.

It seems like DSLR is no longer being alienated like last time. Gadget people look at it as a necessity. With the latest development of which the Camera manufacturers started to release cheap cameras, everyone may now claim themselves a photography photographers.

And these people started to sell their services cheaply.

And for some people, who will just say yes for as long as they can have a set of pictures for their wedding, they will sign up the cheap photography package with these people.

Even though these people have less or very minimal knowledge on the wedding photography, given Adobe photoshop and all those tools, they're now a wedding photographer already.

Photographers like me will lose so many jobs, but it's okay. I'm fine with that but price would not lie to you. You'll be getting what you're paying.

And I've heard some elder photographers was complaining about other Top photographers who were charging so much but their picture is not that favourable to him.

Photography likings is very personal. As for myself, I'd prefer pictures with the elements that strengthen the image. There are so many, but as long s the picture is fine, nice to the eyes and very the soothing, it's acceptable and as long as the Art value is there, it's still a nice image.

People always asked me about editing. I always tell them, editing is not necessary if you've already a very good job with your camera. Sharpening is not needed as blur will also gives you some sense of art if it was done tactically.

First things first, if you really into photography, the easiest way to learn is to look in the forums. Or buy books.

But camera techniques, is something you have to learn in person. You can either go to Nikonian Academy or any personal photographers for it; given if you're lucky enough.

Good, nice & friendly forum would be photomalaysia.com but less good pictures there. Shutterasia would be flooded with a lot of nice and pro-looking images but beware of the people; they're not so friendly especially the moderators!

Well, photography is still, very abstract! It lies in the eye of the beholder.

God's Marvel - Another yet known heaven on earth

I stopped breathing when I saw the place! Serioussssssssssssssssssssssssssshit!
The water is so crystal clear that you can see almost anything at the bottom. Luckily I arrived during no one is there yet.

One of the hut being provided for the visitors, for rental about 25k.... in IDR (Indonesian Rupiah).

Too bad I didn;t bring my swimming suit. Otherwise, I wouldn't be back to Malaysia by now.

The velvia effect was obtained using vivid setting on my D300 body and of course my favourite polarizer filter.

For more photos, please do not hesitate to visit my Online Trikora Gallery.

Bringing up wedding photography to the next level

Natural light photography is something that everyone must master in order to become a good photographer but as the time went by, most photographers would love to be able to play and control with lights.

I would love to produce such a high quality picture through out all of my photography works and it was an honour when they say, "Gambar macam magazinelah!!!"

Something that is rarely being done, I've experimented Nikon CLS application with outdoor wedding photography. We would normally see people play with 1 or 2 light sources but I used 3 to 4 this time, and it's done outdoor!

That's the clear advantage of flash photography over studio lighting, where it's much cheaper, more versatile and mobile.

Credit to Ayu Surya for allowing me to post her wedding pictures into my blogs, website and forums.

For a complete gallery of her wedding pictures, please visit Ayu Surya & Saiful Gallery on my website.

p/s :: The oil price is definitely going down. I bet it will get as low as below USD80 per barrel.

Nikon Event at the Ikano Power Center.

A week after the D700 review, I came up to KL back again, this time for a Nikonian class and an event at the Ikano.

I myself had to give a talk on How to take sharp photos. Admitting that the first time was pretty not easy for me but I was actually having a lot fun doing it, especially when people rushing over me to shoot me with questions just after the talk was over. Together giving talk with me is Joe Loon, another Nikonian Trainer, who has been so kewl on stage. (picture is by courtesy of Sean Liew from Nikonian Academy)

Remember this photo? It can be viewed in my photo gallery at my website. It has been chosen by Nikonian director to be printed out for the exhibition at the Ikano. Kewl eh?

Andrew & Sean. (I hope they don't mind I'm posting this.

The same event would be held in the next weekend at the same place, Ikano. If you have free time, why not give me a visit then?

The best thing was my family was also around. I went to see them for a while at the IKEA and spent a lil time my nephew AFI. I learnt one thing about this lil boy now. He's so into GADGETS! I cannot tell how excited he was after seeing my DSLR and wants to get hold of it. Maybe you should get to be like your uncle one day uh? Hehehehe.

* For more news and pictures of the event please read it here...

D700 :: The wait so worth it.

I've been waiting for a non pro body of Full Frame camera from Nikon to compare with the superb image quality of the canon non pro body full frame camera, the 5D.

It's the D700, that was just launched a few weeks back. And the first unit has arroved in Malaysia and I was honoured to be among the first to test and review the camera for Malaysia.

Saturday has been the day I waited. This was what I produced.

This post is featured in www.nikonian.com.my. Click here to get straight to the entry.

D700 simply rocks and is f*ckin awesome!

My Father

Last Wednesday, my father told me that he needs to submit his latest picture at work to the department.

I told him, why not we do some photoshoot in your office tomorrow?

The next day, I went to his office and photoshoot these kick ass photos! He loves all of them!

All pictures were taken using Nikon CLS. The group photos were also having great light from the side, which was also created using the CLS.

Waddap guyce?

I'm shrinking all my blogs as I'll also be managing my own website at http://www.izham-miyake.com

As you can see, I've already incorporated all my old (& lame) entries from my old blog (slash.tblog.com) to here. All the archive entries from February 2004 to September 2005 are the entries from the previous blog.

More mergers will be coming soon. I might be merging this blog with the my pojok blog as well.

It was purposely done that this blog is having a new look. Basically i was just changed the background, of which before I was using someone else's picture but this time, I'm using mine, which was taken using my previous Canon 400D.

Now I'm shooting more with my Nikon D200 even though I'm still keeping my Canon 40D. With Nikon, it is much easier for me to do the Nikon CLS, a lighting system that can be established using the flashes, which made the life so much easier.

And the pictures are super marvellous too!

Oh yeah, what's with the Nikon?

Nikon kick ASS! Here are some picture with the Nikon CLS!

And further, I've been appointed as the Assistant Pro Trainer for the Nikonian Academy. The academy has the role to become the Nikon Product Evangelist other than to educate in terms of providing training classes to people to find the best way of making use of the cameras.

Classes are rolling, and as for the time being, we are only providing classes for the DSLR users, the classes for the compact cameras are in the finalized stage, and will be in the rolling soon.

And for reference, the website is www.nikonian.com.my.

Please not that the classes in JB is selling like hot goreng pisang now! You may not be able to enrol so don;t waste your time to wait!

Call me and reserve your seats, no matter who and where you are. Nikonian Certs will be provided to all completing attendees.

***************************************

As for the time being, The nation is said to be unstable, caused by the effort by some people to make things right.

If things are right, it won't ignite such chaotic political scene as it has always been aired on the news, on TV.

I'm supporting anything that will get things right, as I know there's nothing left 'right' in the government now.

I've been waiting for that wrong person to do the right thing, then everything will get back to normal.

And we photographers can do job in more confidence. The economy is good, everybody makes money and be willing to pay your high price of good photography service!

About :: Getting Older

First of all, today is Julie's birthday. Happy birthday to her.

Talking about birthdays, birthdays means getting old.

As for me, getting older, also means getting busier from day to day.

Ah yes, the blog has a new name. It's now HTTP://LIFE.IZHAM-MIYAKE.COM. It sounds more like it, right? Hehehe

Is it about getting old or getting matured?

How age can ensure you to act and think maturely?

As from my point of view, the older people get, the more irrational act they do. I would say, we human are actually never grow mature..

Err rephrase.. Human are hardly able to grow mature. Human can only grow to become an adult and getting older.

Some people are getting older and becoming forgetful. Like my father. I am actually unable to accept the fact that my parents are getting old. They started to get the long-sighted eye problem and depending too much on that reading spectacles.

This morning, my father called me as he arrived in the office, asking me whether can I look for him the reading glasses that he may have left it at home. I was smiling thinking how forgetful my father is but at the same time, I'm seriously worried about him. When he forgets, he tends to panic. That makes me even worrier (ada betoi ka ni ayat?)

I've been searching the whole house but i still can't find his reading glass. What should i tell my father?

I saw mom grows older by going through phases of this and that sickness. She is undergoing some treatments and I really hope that she's gonna get better. Even though she's getting older, she's still loyal to her chores; that would include watching TV and a new hobby; playing games! Haha! Zuma it is!

I saw myself getting older as getting more lonelier. Being bachelor at this age, staying with parents and most of my siblings are not around, I actually see myself as not growing old at all. Even though I'm 31, I feel like I'm still a child, being surrounded by my siblings (actually only Farah) and being playful with her, and my mom is around to cook for me and my father is also around to scold me if I'm doing too much.

Hehehe... I kinda like it you know, but the getting lonelier is the part that i'm not sure whether i like it or not. Last time, all the family members are around and the feling was great. That's why whenever there's a chance to have a gathering with all the family members, I'll be the most super happiest person to be in there! Hahaha.. Dahlah most, super happiest pulak lagi..

Eventhough I'm glad for such a thing, there is still a people who grow older, also becoming more self centered and selfish. The common examples are the politicians of course. The not so common examples are a lot, but I'd just like to emphasize here that it's not easy to sacrifice and do something for the love to the people you love most, especially when the people we love are unaware or unable to accept and to tolerate and cooperate with our plans and intention.

SIGH

Well, the only thing that we may have been going through by getting older is that we are also getting wiser. Through experiences, we are able to evaluate things in a more precised details and considerations.

That is more like it. Older = Wiser.

Well, maturity is for me, subjective! What level or category of maturity are we talking about? When a girl's breast is getting visible, then the old folks will say,

"She's getting matured!"

Correct, correct, correct? (like VK Lingam)

Just another week....

Is stating facts is more irresponsible than throwing an anonymous harsh comment then?

I would leave my readers with their own interpretation of what they would churn out of my words. I'm just throwing ideas that may lead to another space of discussion, of any freedom that may diverge or converge to another issue but I'm hoping that we Malaysians have grown up enough to take my reading positively. I have never been underestimating my fellow readers, by limiting the space to the ideas that must suit to a certain needs.

As far as I'm concerned, I have a bunch of not-looking-back and rational friends and readers who have either helping me to further rationalised on my thoughts by expressing their beautiful mind in my comment box or just silently reading on and on and on and so on.

But I'm persuading my readers and highly suggesting them to read between the lines and to get used to my teasing and jokes, and of course being cynical is just another way of being Malaysian Malay, traditionally.

I'm not going to either defend or plead guilty on any accusation because I do aware that so far, most of my readers have the same wavelength as I am, which may require a positive and moving forward thinking, without prejudice and unjust.

I have to emphasize here that I'm not a racist by any nature and I'm just throwing ideas by stating some facts, well mixed with sarcasm and cynical that some people may not get the point.

That explains why not so many people is reading my blog, literally, as I tend to explain things as detailed as I could as I knew that my English is not as good as some other people, to note. I wrote long sentences. You may miss some words, or even lines, thus not enabling you to get in between the lines.

So I hope this shouldn't be an issue but as I said, I'd love to urge people to think, rationally and if they would like to, they may further cook the ideas up to an exceptable liberalized fruitful essence.

Anyway, I would love to thank eyzac and babi for their honest opinion and there's no right and wrong in throwing ideas.

Most importantly, jangan ambil hati with my writings.

I love you taiko. Million thanks for being a good everything to me, and today by enlighting me and everyone else with your 'wisdomful' remarks.

And today, I would want the world to know that beside Taiko being an intimate (:p) and close proximity friend of mine, I have a line of other friends who have been truly great that I-cannot-find-other-friends-like-them.

And if you guys may notice, I do sometimes write about them, once in a while.

Romdzi, another great friend who shared the date birth with me, came over to JB with his family to visit me (actually he has an assignment in JB) and he just need to go to Singapore.

So today I went to singkapoh again. This time, we drive in.

This is somewhere near the Queenstreet where we parked the car without the parking tickets. The sun was so hard on us that even ROmdzi can't open his eyes. This is rather not a posed shot so the subject doesn't really matter. What matters to me are the picture is sharp and Singapore still have these kind of oldtown rows of shops. Just like what you can exactly see in small towns in Malaysia. The only thing was, a McDonald's restaurant is at the end of the shop row. Kewl...

I've got another friend, we called him Pitt Din. Looking at this picture, it's an honour to see a street was named upon him. Hehe. Pitt Street. Hei, not Pitt Saint eh.

This is the first daughter (and more to come) of Romdzi. She maybe named after my sister as well (haha) as her name is Nur Farah Liana, which brought the meaning of The light of Happiness which is soft and polite.

Masya Allah.. She's so naughty, just not able to stay still.

I'm her Pak Long Bai. She has always mistakenly addressed me as her Pak Long Masai.

I 'curik-curik' snapped a photo of a worker who constantly managed the thrown-offs from the garbage container. Deeply, I pity him as no one ever care to even look at him. Not even to say hi. He has quite a not welcoming mood too but I believe if we say hi to him, he may get cheered up a bit or he may just passed, being shy or get irritated.

I donch know. Different people have different interpretation of what they face and see everyday.

I reckoned she's pooping now because she was found to poop in her diaper later.

She plays alone like nobody is around. Sometimes she stares emptily, maybe wondering of why these people just walk off without saying anything. Up to my amazement, she says hi to a few people passing by.

How I wish I can do that too. I want to have that liberated friendliness.

Our last destination, Pasir Panjang Park where we had our Satay! (In the picture, from left, Suriani, Romdzi and Farah Liana)

Very nice. They're so just grilled and hot that burned my tongue and the upper ceiling of my mouth! Damn...

* Some people just loved to blink their eyes on the count of 3. hehehe :p. And I have also update my photoblog

December 5, 2007

Hello Hello.. R u there?

We're about to approach 2008.

I was busy doing nothing much. Spending a lot of time learning new things lately.

And I've been busy with photography projects too. My recent submitted project was to submit a picture of Gunung Panti and Kota Tinggi Waterfall to Jabatan Perhutanan of Johor Bahru District. (More about the project at My Photo Blog)

Well, what's more interesting thing that I'd like to share here is about the trip after surveying the area that I'm about to shoot. We went inside the forest to see some logging activities. Normally at the loggin site they will have this kind of license signage with some indication of the license information.

Then I found this. A cut of a log which you can normally found it being commercialized, which they plant some small trees inside that hole. Now I know where do they got all that.

I think this is such a nice thing. The small branches form a lot of leading lines and I must say it somekind of soothing to the eyes. To me la at least hehehehe.

Then, all of a sudden, we met with this. Guess what?

It's the biggest Tongkat Ali I've ever found. Imagine the 'magic' some people believe it will do to you. :p

We leave it there, and will take it back sometimes later.

In the middle of the forest, it's quite weird when you can see land being cleard up like this for oil palm plantation. Nice or not nice? It was not a good scene to look at but i think it looks quite nice in the picture.

Arrived at the logging site. Nowadays, the timber size are rather small. Last time, a timber diameter used to be as wide as 3-4 meter and imagine how big was that. And people last time, used iron cable to pull it up to the lorry, not like nowadays where as they use excavator.

On the way back, we took the tongkat ali and brought it home. It's going to be displayed at one of the exhibition later.

Nice eh? I wish i can go in again.

Clarified...!

Okayh.. issue clarified and I'm reputting the enrty back in here. So you guys who have been asking about it, here you are!

I'd been pretty occupied lately with all the photography job, paid or unpaid. It has been my nature to be able to sit in front of the pc for hours doing something and better, I'm doing something really beneficial out of it.

I've just updated my photo blog with one of my recent project. It was fun as i had the chance to photograph two beautiful lady, a mother and a daughter of which it carries the theme of 'Pulang Berhari Raya'. (Go back to hometown for raya festival).

It had inspired me to get a raya project for myself.

Yeah. It will be done next year, starting from a few days before raya, until I've became fat enough to stop photo capturing.

Yeah now I'm fat too. I hardly walk that yesterday I was almost falling down while photo capturing my father's event.

So that was my first attempt of photo group. Yeah, it was kinda messy but i'd prefer it to be that way. It was kind of small but i think u guys may still see the faces clearly.

That's the power of Canon 40D.

Eh have u heard? Hahaha.. I bought a new camera. It's a Canon. EOS 40D. The latest one. The outcome? Superb!

And I already had a few canon lens; including that prime 50mm, 28-105mm USM and the 70-200mm f2.8L lens!

I managed to sell my Sigma 18-200mm to Nadya. And i'm still keeping my 17-50mm Tamron lens.

So afterwards, keep on your eyes on my photo blog. There will be more updates coming. With more techniques of photography and editing.

Love,

-Izham-

A tiring weekend

Yeah,

So that's why today I've just woke up from my long afternoon nap. Budiey expected me to have updated my blog but sorry dude, I'm way too tired of travelling.

I've got to wake up early saturday morning to catch the 6.30 bus and I thought I'm so lucky to be able to ride on a double decker bus. That was my second time. It was nice to sit pretty high but given the last row seat of the bus.

I believe the backache (and the exhaustion) I'm having is cause by the bus.

Time to get rid of my extra fats I suppose. A friend of mine who is slightly lighter than me is now suffering from the, errr.. what they call it, slip disc uh?

Further, the double decker bus was so slow that I expected myself to be able to reach the Serdang R&R by 10.00 AM but it reached there at around 10.30. I was late for the meeting at the Telekom Tower but thank god Elizany was waiting patiently at the R&R while sleeping.

And I've got my first experience in a Proton Tiara. Not bad lah. For me, any car that can actually be driven is good enough. So actually Elizany forced me to drive the car as he was still unable to wake from his booze.

I went with that short meeting (a briefing actually) and went for lunch at the Bangsar. Went home and grabbed Mazuien's car to be driven to Genting.

Why am I going to Genting? I won't go there for nothing. Actually, Budiey had asked me to go with him to Genting for the Anugerah Era 07,and freakingly excited as a photographer, I just said yes and you know how fast I was driving that Perodua Kelisa up to Genting?

I took only 40 minutes to reach the top from KLCC. Hahahaha. Perodua Kelisa rocks. After this I'm gonna try with both my Frontier and Civic. See whether they can beat Kelisa or not.

I was really like 'Unta masuk hutan' when I reached Genting. I don't really know the place and if I'm alone, I'd just went off. Well, we had a nice lunch at the Burger King (thanx to Budiey for your treat). Mahal tu beb. 2 meals at RM32++. Can already have 3 normal meals at the McDonalds downhill.

The thing started with the showcase at around 5 PM and ends at around 630PM. As usual the showcase were normally for the AF grads or new artists. Up to my surprise, Rosma AF is damn thin. I remember last Aznil Nawawi, had by mistake (or intentionally) called her 'Anak Gajah' (Elephant child) in one of the AF concert.

Now, I'm also very well tergoda. Her pictures (lotsa pictures) were all worth keeping and staring at.

Dafi is maybe cute but I think everyone noticed he was way out of tune a lot of time when singing the Dewa song. I've forgotten the song name already. One of my favourite song.

At around 7, Budiey and I went inside the Arena Starts Area waiting for the Green Carpet event after getting my media tag. Kewl eh? Why not red carpet? Don't ask me..

While waiting for the flows of the artists to walk in on the red carpet, Mr. Boogie noticed me and smsed me. Kewl. Nice meeting you dude! He's an Astro guy uh? Hehehehe..

Here are them on the red carpet guys! More updates in my Pojok and Photo Blogs.

Jakarta This Time

On Monday, I was supposed to be posting an entry saying that I'm going to Jakarta and see you guys in another few more days.

But then I may conclude that both my N70 and N73 were unable to make such post.

I was at the KLIA when I was trying to hit that post. There was a lounge with Internet facility but they asked for something like RM80 to get in..

Blegh.

So, on that Monday, as I was on the ERL to the KLIA from KLSentral, I've got a call from my sister telling me that my brother, Izzat was involved in an accident on the highway.

Funny, he didn't dare to call me at all.

And we departed from KLIA at around 5 something, as the flight was a lil bit delayed. They were still busy loading things when I was already boarded, as you can see above.

Who are we? We are, me, 3 from Wakala Johor and 1 from Wakala Penang. I'm from Wakala Skudai.

We arrived at the Soekarno Hatta's at around 8 something their time and we're headed straight away to a restaurant for dinner. We were warmly welcomed by the Goldex's staff, Miss Novi and the VIP immigration representative, Pak Waluyo, who took all out passport and let us to walk through the green lane.

Keeeeeewwwwwwlll... isn't it? The chick who sat next to me in the flight waved at me as i was passing through them. If she's willing to follow me to the hotel, I will surely take her with me to pass the green lane hehehehehe. Everybody was looking at us with envy.

Or maybe that was just my 'perasan' feeling.

But we were still be the last went out, because my bag was the last to come out from the flight. Damn it! Later, we were taken to the car to be taken to the dinner place. It was an ALPHARD. Jakun giler seh. That was my first time.

Surprisingly, there's a traffic officer escorting us all the way! Hahahahah. I started to feel so bongkak at that time, no matter what.

Even though Jakarta's traffic was all jammed, we managed to reach in half an hour. I guess you can see how we did it. Thanx to the traffic officer.

The best thing during the dinner was the sausage, and it was chicken sausage. Chewing it reminds me of the popular sausage at the IKEA, which was found to be using the pig's intestine.... hmmm.. who cares.....

Just before we were taken to the Sultan Hotel, (owh no wonder we were treated like a sultan ay?) they took us to an office of the intended place for the new Gold Exchange.

So, we arrived at the Sultan Hotel around 11.00 PM their time, which was 12.oo PM Malaysian time. As I checked in, the room was marvellous. I can share the bed with another two girls; if I wanted to hehe, but I was too tired.

The next morning, there was again the delicious chicken sausage and I enjoyed it with the omelette. Damn the chicken sausage was addictive. Luckily I got 'em all for free. Then we were taken to the Jakarta Future Exchange (JFX). Later we had lunch at the Nasi Padang Natrabu. Hell, I ate my most favourited (past tensed lagi) otak and urat lembu. At the end of lunch, I was calculating the calories. But it was damn syiok i tell you.

In the afternoon, we went to the Goldex office and later the steamboat dinner at the Mulya Hotel. In the picture, that was Carestha, a 23-year-old girl who was a smart girl that managed to finished her diploma at the age of 19. Forget it guys, she's married with a kid. Amazing pretty lady.

We were fully occupied for the whole day and returned to the room exhausted. That means no shopping, so no souvenirs. Sorry guys.

I was having another big breakfast the next day before we were taken to Pak Fenny's office. Pak Fenny is the one who supplied the IC and Passport for the Indonesian People. Damn. Imagine if he charge RM10 per IC. Indonesian has no less than 200 million people.

There, he has already got RM2 billion. During our visit to his office, a reporter from one of the Koran (news paper) came to interview Pak Fenny about his involvement in the International Gold Dinar in Indonesia.

As the reporters were around, we were also given the chance to preview the almost complete latest line of the dinar to be produced. The rectangle like gold bar is valued at 47.5 dinar, while the other coins from the left are 20 Dinar, 8 Dinar, 2 Dinar, 1 Dinar and 1/2 Dinar. The one below is 1 Dirham.

See, you read my blog, you also have the privillege to preview these dinar way much earlier than others. Even Mahathir or apatah lagi Paklah has not even seen this dinar variations yet. This would be the first ever preview of complete line of IGD to be revealed to the world. Trust me. You would never be able to see this elsewhere.

So, we had lunch and then headed straight back to the BANDARA (Bandar Udara), or in Bahasa Melayu we call it airport. Hahahaha...

So now I'm already in Malaysia, and already back in JB. One thing I would never forget, only BMW X5, Mercedesz E class and Toyota Alphard was provided for the transportation, and was police escorted all the time!

Well I think i'd really love to share this video, as it was the best ever experience in my life. Only in JAKARTA Indonesia. I would never get this in any part in the world... yet..

Hahahahahaha... jangan jeles.. !

July 22, 2007

Whatever the week was all about,

Hehehe.. Attention please. Hello hello. Alright...

Lemme introduce you guys to a friend of mine. He's an eligible bachelor, a very responsible person even though he's well known for being to wake up late most of the time, the kewlest person on earth and I believe a loving first son to his single mom and a super duper lovey dovey brother towards his 5 younger siblings.

He's really a good friend and as a person, he's the kewlest guy I've ever met.

So, last week, I went back to JB on Saturday afternoon last week from KL, actually to go to this friend's house and I intended to give him my hand for his sister's wedding ceremony. I just cound't make it when I was actually busy going here and there getting people's signature for some contracts I'm working on. So the next day, I went to his house feeling bad and this time I intended to compensate my promise to him by giving free pictures.

What? Yeah you read it right. Free pictures. He's a good friend of mine so what? So check out my my photo blog for the pictures.

Right after the wedding, I took a bus to go back to KL again. I'm gonna have a few appointments and meeting before going back to JB the next day as I've enrolled myself into a photography course at the M-Suite Hotel JB.

The first day went fine, when I actually went in late but it's kewl to get to know a lot of new people again. Feel like being in the lectures again but this time it was more fun. You know it how a bunch of adult and married men acted with only 3-4 ladies around. I've learned about a lot of things that I actually do not know. Thank god this course had actually enlightened me about a lot of things. Even stupid things though.

Suddenly I feel so stupid. Hehehe...

The second day was okay except that something unexpected happened. The course facilitator, Mr. Noorsham found a piece of broken glass in his Koay Teow Goreng. Can u spot the glass in that picture?

During that 3-day-course, all of us did some practical and I thinkla, I did snap a few strong and effective pictures.

You can have a look at them in my photo blog. Have a nice week guys. I'm gonna be busy as usual. :)

Desperate Mode

I'm quite desperate. Need a clerk staying around Taman Universiti Skudai to help me on the office work. B. Mende aaa lu. Nak commission plak. Gua pun xde sen ni. Belanja McD boleyla.. Dah la gua call nak ajak lunch pun x angkat.

Actually there was one girl called asking for the job. At that time, I was pooping in the toilet. Luckily the handphone was within my reach so that I can ask her to come over for an interview the next day.

Before she came, she called again but at that time, I was again in the toilet and my poop were already half way out. The handphone were also out of reach. It was a private number so I guess it must be her. At around 11.20, there were 2 girls coming to the office and at first glance, one of them is cuter than the other one.

The not so cute girl was the one who called for the interview.. CIS....!

Anyway, she claimed to be fun, cheerful, and happy go lucky but I think my standard for being happy go lucky is way too high for her. I was a lil bit irritated when she sometimes gave me the look like I was flirting with her. Owh come on...! I think she's having problem with her self esteem, shy, timid and a lil bit smelly too.

The smells may caused by walking around Taman U looking for job the whole day.

End of the interview and I told her that I will call her later.

Wednesday was a lil bit boring day. I started the day with seeing Mel and gave her the album of her pictures I shot at Punggai and Batu Layar near Desaru. Thank god, her friends were interested and they may lookup for my service later.

Last time, Wednesday is the day I've been waiting for. It is the cheap movie day. I used to watch movies every wednesday with my ex-fiance last time. Almost every week. No single movie that I missed.

Now in JB, I would normally asked Lin for the movies. Or else, I would just went to Jusco Tebrau and watch with myself. It's kinda pathetic sometimes for not being able to share the emotional intrigues from the movie.

So my wednesday went off just like that. It was very frustrating when I get back to my car when I see this stupid note on my car.

I've been parking my car for the last 2 weeks and no one has ever warned me about that parking space. That parking space is actually just a small area which cars can get in and park. I opted to park there as the local council issued a lot of summons to my car unconsiderately. Sometimes, I left my car for 5 minutes to get the parking coupon but they already put the ticket on my windscreen.

So parking at that small open area is free. Now somebody is being rough. It's okay. I'll just park my big car blocking the way in. Nobody can ever get in or out of that parking space after this.

And tonight, it's very unsangkarable that my comment on ChikaDior's entry has been an intriguing comment that caused her to make an entry out of it..

I used to hear people said,

"Orang selalu cakap, bila kecil comel, bila besar buruk tapi bila tua jadi comel balik.."

And of course it reversible when someone is ugly when small, became pretty or handsome after grown up and became ugly again when they get much older.

One of the case is Aishwarya Rai. Look at her younger piccies. Ouch. X Selera u...

I can't wait to see her growing old.

Penang, here i come!

That previous night, we've checked-in into the Grand Continental Hotel (syiok!) and later we went out for dinner ourselves as nobody was there to take us out. Back from dinner, I was playing with the piccies till late 3s and slept.

******

I was awaken by Tasha phone call as early as 6.00 AM as I was supposed to be going with her to the make up place. First, we were supposed to be going to have breakfast but realizing that we're gonna be late, i took the initiative to sebd her myself to the make-up place just to get to know that she will be in the last position. There were 7 other girls who are also getting married the same day were waiting for their turn.

Yang tukang make upnya nampak macam lembut and he was like couldn't resist looking at me, whether he was wondering whut am I doing at the place where everyone else are women or was he looking at me? Maybe he likes my camera.

At 10.30, I decided to go back and getting ready for the afternoon event.

******

At around 11 something yada-yada, we checked out and headed straight to Tasha's house and getting ready for the photo shoot. We had our lunch (the Nasi Minyak was marvellous) and waited for the groom to arrive.

It damn hot! The bride has to wait under someone house's porch. I was already smelly like a pig. Should I care?

Dia datang (pap pap pap), dengan lenggang-lenggoooooooknyaaaaaaaaa (ulang la sampai esok).

As he arrived, the reception started. There's no such thing as kompang, just a bunch of old folks playing some musical instruments. They went inside, merenjis-renjis the rose water, went outside had their meals and meeting the guests, a normal ritual which is being used all over the country. Then, they came back in for more photo session till everyone got bengkok.

I'm gettin' tired and it's time to call it a day. After being agreed by the wedded couple and the family, we took off and we go round-round the Alor Setar town once again!

After one round in Alor Setar, dengan air mata yang tak berlinang, we went out of the town heading towards the hiway and Penang here we come!

******

Don't do that! The scenery along the hiway was making me all hungry, because of the paddy. Imagining myself eating nasi, of which my stomach is already empty. Dropping by the Gurun rest area and refreshing ourselves, to Penang we proceed the journey!

The bridge was badly jammed, just because the people there just love the accidents. As we passed the bridge, we straight away headed to the QueensBay Mall, the place where I wanna be, eh silap, the place where brother's working.

At the secret Recipe we had our meal for dinner. There and then Mizan and his friend arrived and we had chit chat together.

After sometimes, we made a move to Restoran Kayu Original and had another meal.

This time we eat nasi. Kita mesti makan nasi (KFC).

******

After those happy-happy moments in Penang, we made out move to the hiway at about 2.30 AM and started our journey to KL slowly. I stopped a few times before arriving to my sister's house at around 10.00AM, had fun at the swimming pool and went out.
